Snowshoeing

Tate and I decided to try something new this past Sunday.  We went snowshoeing.  I've always wanted to do this, but wasn't sure if I ever would.  I decided to look up some parks in MN that may offer snowshoe rental and found some that we could go to.  I then found a 'nature preserve center' near our house (approx 1 mile), on accident while reading the news online, that is 250 acres and rents show shoes on the weekends during the winter months.  I was soooo excited that we would be able to do it so close to home.  We brought Mya with for the adventure.

I felt like we were traveling across Alaska...(I know it's probably far from what Alaska is really like).

We had such a good time exploring something new together.  Mya really enjoyed herself too.  I am excited about where we went because it has many paths, playground, tennis court, discovery center, etc.  I can't believe it took us over 2 years to find this place when it within in a mile of the apartment we lived in before we had bought our house.

PS - I know this is my 2nd posting of today...but I am just so excited about this blog (which I am sure will wear off).  I was looking forward to coming home from work to post this blog since my pictures were on my home computer...I know, I'm a nerd :)
