We flew out at 6:30 am so it was a very early morning at the start of our vacation. I was super excited when we got on the plane because this was the first flight I had been on that we had TV's.
We finally made it to Mobile, Alabama where we boarded the cruise ship. We boarded around 1:30 in the afternoon and our rooms were available when we boarded. We went to our rooms and then met in the buffet restaurant to eat lunch. All the walls were stained glass of peacocks.
After lunch we explored the ship and got ready for our WorldVentures blue party. We had a private party for all WorldVenture Dreamtrippers and everyone was encouraged to wear blue. Free drinks were served and there were many raffle drawings. It was so fun to meet many people from all over the United States that were members of WorldVentures. It also helped that we had a great WV host.

After the WV private party was dinner time. We had dinner at assigned tables so we had planned a head of time to have dinner with Tom & Shannon. Another couple was seated with us that were also a part of WV. They were from Mississippi. They were a wonderful couple and really funny. The wife, Barbara, was originally from Green Bay, WI so Tate was super excited that she was a Packer fan.
After dinner Tate and I decided to a little gambling @ the casino. We left the casino ahead $35. We played blackjack. We then went to the theatre where a game show was going on. We sat in the front row. The next thing in the theatre was bingo. We decided to spend $20 for 3 cards to play bingo. WE WON!!!! I couldn't believe that we had just won $500 playing bingo!!!
After bingo was finished...there was a show in the same theatre. It was really cool and fun to watch.
After the show was over we decided to call it a night. We had a great first day and were ready to hit the hay to see what day 2 would bring.
