Week 30


Baby W this week…
-Baby W's skin is smoothing out and his brain just keeps getting more wrinkled.
-His grip is now strong enough to grasp a finger.

Size of the baby?
Baby W is the size of a cucumber.



Total Weight Gain/Loss?
+22 lbs @ my 30 week appt this week.

Maternity Clothes?
My maternity clothes are definitely more comfortable, but I still manage to fit into some of my non-maternity clothes with the assistance of a hair band and belly band.

Stretch Marks?
None...thank gosh!

Best Moments?
I'm finally had my first dream about his delivery and him being here. He had a full head of hair...a ton of black hair. So weird because I don't think that will happen. He also latched on immediately and was able to breastfeed without problem...I hope that part happens :)

We also had our first baby class on Saturday. It was great to have our first one and we start the labor/delivery class next week.

Movement?
Still lots of movement. His heart rate was 158 at my doctor appt and she commented that he must be excited. I informed her that it could be the ice cream and cake I ate an hour before my appt (co-workers birthday dessert).

Food Cravings?
I don't have any real cravings. I do eat peanut butter everyday...not because I crave it but because it's one of the few things I like. I do love my fruit though...I so want some watermelon.

Anything making you queasy or sick?
Nothing really.

What I miss?
Being able to work out at my full potential. I am still walking, using the elliptical and cycling but it's hard because I have to tell myself to slow down so I don't get my heart rate too high. I miss breaking a sweat and getting a good workout in. I tend to break a small sweat but I think it's because of the weight I've put on...not because I am pushing myself.

Nausea/Vomiting?
None

Symptoms?
 Besides the obvious huge belly I have and that EVERYONE tells me I look like a swallowed a basketball...I still get bloody noses and start to ache. My belly keeps getting bigger and there are times I can 'feel' it. It doesn't feel good.

Labor Signs?
None so far

BOY

Belly Button In or Out?
It's out!!!

Wedding Rings On or Off?
So on...and not even getting close to being tight. I'm so glad and I hope that it doesn't get too tight but I still have 10 weeks to go and that very well could happen then.

Sleep?
 Still getting a nice solid 7 hours of sleep without having to wake up to pee! I feel very lucky!!! I am getting more tired though because tax season is taking it's toll on me. Thank gosh I have 2.5 weeks left.

What I am looking forward to?
I am so excited to see family this weekend. We will be going to my Grandma & Grandpa's for Easter. I have not seen my extended family since Thanksgiving. I love spending time with them.

Here Mya is modeling our baby Twins gear. Baby W was spoiled by my awesome in-laws this weekend!!

  1. You look so dang amazing! Great job on continuing your workouts! I would've couched myself a long time ago ;) I did enjoy going for walks, but definitely didn't have the energy to hit up the gym! Enjoy your weekend with your family!

  2. You are by far the cutest pregnant woman I've ever seen - I hope that's not creepy - but, my goodness you are adorable!!

    So glad you're feeling well, sleeping well and still able to keep up with your work-out's. I'm with Becky - I would have couched myself along time ago, too! haha

  4. i loved being able to workout all through my pregnancy, even though you may not feel like it's a great workout you are doing your body a HUGE favor for staying in shape- it will help SO much with your delivery!

  5. Yay for the 30's!! So exciting! I remember feeling like my stomach just got soooo heavy. oof! Hard to remember what that was like now, though.

  8. You are ALL belly...and when I read that you are still working out it explained why! Good for you! I literally have worked out like twice during this entire pregnancy haha. I'm just so lazy! You're getting so close now :)
