Weight

Sleep

This last week Maddox has gone 8 hour stretches a few nights in between feedings. He still wakes up one or two times before that 8 hour mark but we normally just calm him and he goes back to sleep. I'm hoping by the time I go back to work in 3 weeks that he is not waking at all during the night which it seems we are on pace for, but I won't hold my breath :)

Daily Routine

Maddox is on the same routine I had with Turner...the eat, play, sleep cycle. He is doing well with it. i love being able to know his 'schedule' or routine so we can plan the day. Maddox is also napping in his crib as I know he will have to be napping in a pack n play or crib while @ daycare. If he is super fussy and keeps waking up, I'll eventually move him to the swing to finish the nap. 

Feeding

Still going strong in the breastfeeding department. I have to admit, we barely used bottles this month which had me worried since I'm leaving him for one day this week and he starts daycare in 3, but the last couple days I've given him a bottle twice daily and he has done great. I then pump after he eats. If he has a bottle he is getting 4.5 ounces. I once again had to eliminate dairy from my diet. It seemed he was super fussy and gassy if I had dairy and since eliminating it, he's been a whole different boy. I did the same thing with Turner.

Diaper Size

We finally  moved to cloth diapers. I was waiting to get Turner potty trained and to also get through the size one diapers. We put him in disposable at night time so then I don't have to change him if he wakes. 

Clothes Size

He's already fitting into his 3 month size clothes. Newborn sizes are long gone and 0-3 are getting tight. 0-3 sleepers still fit but barely. All of his smallest size socks are also too small. Kid has massive feet and hands. 

Hair Color

Still brown and finally growing back in. He lost some hair in the first month that gave him an automatic mo-hawk abut it's gradually growing back. 

Eye Color

Still blue and his lashes are growing so fast. I'm happy to see he is going to have long lashes like my other 2 boys!!!!

Milestones

Gives us so many smiles...and it melts my heart. Attended his first wedding. We finally went back to church service this month. He is so close to being able to hold up his head...very soon I think. He tries to crawl when doing tummy time. The doctor had him on his tummy today and she was amazed on how he was trying to scoot. He even rolled over (only by the way he was positioned...I think).

Likes

Love baths even more now without the infant sling. Loves to coo and smile at mommy and daddy. Interested in all things going on around you. Still loves to be swaddled.

Dislikes

Being cold or hot. Hates being gassy or a burp that wont' come out. Doesn't like to be on his back for too long. When he's tired and you haven't put him down for nap yet, he'll let you know. 

Mama

Had my 6 week postpartum check up and everything checked out good. Started working out again. I'm doing PIYO at home and following the nutrition guidelines. Feeling great from doing all that. I'm nervous about going back to work in 3 weeks. My mind goes crazy thinking how I'm still going to manage everything with working. I know it will all work itself out but my mind gets all frazzled just thinking about it.
