Christmas 2010
When I found out she had passed, I was devastated. She was my first grandparent to pass. People kept telling me that she was now going to be able to make it to our wedding and she will have the best seat in the house. I felt comfort knowing I had another angel watching over me and that she was in a better place and not in pain.
My Grandma and Grandpa had a total of 10 kids, with my mom being the second oldest. They owned a farm outside of Faribault and we would frequent there often growing up. They had a trampoline for us to play on, we would feed cattle and play with the kittens.
My Grandma's funeral was the Monday after our wedding and we missed it since we were on our honeymoon. I thought of her everyday while on our honeymoon and prayed for her. I was very sad to miss it, but my Grandma would not allow me to feel bad, be unhappy or miss out an once in a lifetime trip.
My Grandma was a very loving person who always made you feel like number 1. She was witty and kind. She definitely knew how to run a household and keep everyone in line. I will miss her greatly and find comfort that I will see you again someday in Gods kingdom.
XOXO
