Productivity...my kind of weekend

Seriously...if we had nothing to do this summer and a bank account full of money, we could get this remodeling/updating done in no time! The last 2 weekends have been GREAT since we didn't have anything to do so of course, I thought of a MILLION things we could do :)

We watched the movie Safe House with Denzel Washington (my favorite actor of ALL TIME) and Ryan Reynolds. Very action packed and good. Tate had already seen it but was OK with watching it again since he liked it so much. I would definitely recommend it.

I followed my training schedule for my triathlon and biked for 45 minutes on Saturday and ran for 40 minutes on Sunday. That is the farthest and longest I have ever ran. I'm not really a 'distant' runner. The most I had ever done was a 5k so I felt like I had to mentally prepare myself for Sunday's run...I survived (obviously...since I'm posting) and actually didn't feel like I was going to die @ all during.

Oh...it helps when this is your view while running

We posted 8 items on Craigslist to sell. We have many things that we don't use from when we had our apartment or from when we lived apart and it just sits and collects dust in our 4th bedroom. We had been meaning to post it for awhile. Well, I finally posted around 10pm on Saturday night (I know...fabulous Sat night) and we had already sold half of the items by the time we went to bed...SCORE!

Goodbye...so long...farewell

We ran many many errands. Buying wedding presents, baby shower gifts, weddings shower gifts and shopping for counters. Oh the joy...who knew that counters could be so difficult to pick out! Seriously...when it comes to this stuff it's hard for me to make a decision. So many types...so many colors, my head was spinning. We did learn a lot and now just need to make a decision for our kitchen, bathroom #1 and bathroom #2.

We ended our weekend with some golfing. I could seriously just do projects and housework all day...but the husband makes me go have fun too! He keeps me sane...

We also had to check on the dogs that we watched last weekend and I also did more work on bathroom #2 project!

I'm glad we got lots done this weekend because we have stuff going on for the next 4 weekends! I'm hoping you all had a GREAT weekend also!
