Week 14

Last 'late' weekly update...

WEEK 14 PHOTO FAIL
I was traveling ALL day and didn't get a chance to take a photo...pregnancy/blog #fail

Baby W this week…
-sucking his/her thumb and wiggling his/her toes
-kidneys are making urine along with the liver and spleen are doing their job
-peach fuzz hair is growing on his/her body
Size of the baby?
Size of a lemon...baby is growing fast!

Total Weight Gain/Loss?
+2lbs (from 12 week doc checkup up...next on is 16 weeks)
Maternity Clothes?
Still none, but feeling the tightness and wanting to only wear leggings
Stretch Marks?
I hope to say NONE here for the next 26 weeks.
Best Moments?
EVERYONE that we wanted to know, knows. It is so fun to talk about it all with people.
Movement?
None yet
Food Cravings?
This week all I really wanted was mac and cheese. I made a special trip to Target for it and when Tate ate the leftovers, I was really upset. I made it again a few days later.
Anything making you queasy or sick?
Nothing that usually doesn't.
What I miss?
Being able to workout like I normally do. I need to not 'overdue' it and understand this for the safety of Baby W. I continue to walk, do the elliptical and lift weights. Just no running  because my heart rate gets too high. Light jogging would be OK.
Nausea/Vomiting?
I did get a stomach bug this week, but it only lasted a day and even though I felt like vomiting, I never really did.
Symptoms?
Feel my uterus stretching which can be uncomfortable!
Labor Signs?
Let's talk about this in 24+ weeks.
Gender?
Still unknown
Belly Button In or Out?
In
Wedding Rings On or Off?
Very much on
Sleep?
Sleeping through night and waking up super early to pee.
What I am looking forward to?
Many Christmas parties this week. I'm excited to get together with friends.

  1. i worked out (low impact, high reps) my entire pregnancy. i started with yoga, but got bored with that and once my energy levels were back to normal in the 2nd tri i was doing an evening workout weekly (the low impact one) and an every other week warm pool water class (which was AMAZING and SOOOOO RELAXING!) i worked out with modifications until 4 days before avrie was born- it was the PERFECT method for keeping my body on top of things and preparing for D day- i feel that these practices had me feeling great my entire pregnancy. like you, i only hope all future baby growing sessions are just the same. ;)
