This crazy week

Hi...I'm here...I'm alive!!!

 

Tate went back to work on Monday after having a week off and I've been trying to get lots of things done. It's crazy how much running around I have done since Tate went to work. I've had to go somewhere everyday this week and this weekend we are off to St. Cloud for a wedding of a dear friend. I'm actually in the wedding...so that should be interesting figuring it all out with feeding Turner and doing my bridesmaid duties!

 

So this week...well let's see how it's been!

 

Monday was my first day alone with him and right away in the morning I had to go to my dress alterations appointment. Turner came with. Luckily, that was my only errand that day!

 

My lil' guy all 'milk drunk'!!!!

 

Tuesday I had to make a few runs to Target and the doctor! Thank gosh Target is very close and I usually can get there, shopping done and home within' an hour time.

 

On Wednesday, Tate and I dropped my car off in the morning to get an oil change. Turner and I then had visitors that day. My friends were nice enough to take me to my car to pick up later that day. Then a bank run and off to pick up my bridesmaid dress.

 

He's all smiles hanging out with his mama :)

 

Thursday (today)...we had to bring Mya to the vet this morning. She had been starting to rub her butt on the carpet (which she never does). I knew something was wrong. Either anal glands needed to be expressed or she had worms. Thank gosh...it was just her anal glands.

 

Playtime!!!

 

Friday we will be heading out of town in the afternoon and will be gone until Sunday.

 

And during this week...

- Turner slept the whole time in his car seat

- We have him on a great feeding schedule of every 2-3 hours during the day and every 3-4 hours at night.

- As I am typing this...he is taking his 2nd nap today IN HIS CRIB! We hope to transition him to crib sleeping in the next couple weeks so we are starting with naps. Each day gets better with it.

- Breastfeeding is going great. He latches on and gets his tummy full. I'm been pumping after a few feedings during the day so I can get some stored up for Tate this weekend in case Tate needs to feed him and I am not around.

- Tate and I swear he is the best baby ever. He only cries when hungry and for a few minute when I first put him in his crib. We feel so blessed. Life has been crazy busy this week and I am thankful that next week it will slow down.

 

I've also been soaking in every moment with my lil' guy...he seriously has stolen my heart in a BIG way!!!!

  

I am also hoping to get his birth story up here soon because it was definitely and unforgettable journey that day.

 

I could stare @ him all day!!!
