Monster Dashin' & Pedal Pubbin'

I ran my first race post pregnancy this weekend.

A few fellow MN bloggers and I decide to sign up for the Monster Dash and I am so glad we did. We had loads of fun and I felt like my hips were going to break off all day after the race...but so worth it :)

Turner and Tate were there to support me!!!

My running partner...Andrea!!                                  We did it...good job ladies!!!

How costumes....we were the Minneapolis 'chain of lakes'! I don't have a picture of all 5 of us that were a part of that costume so you'll have to check out Jess, Syndal, or Lauren's blog to see that (if they do post about it). Andrea was loon lake!

This is what it looked like @ the finish line for the 5k...you couldn't even 'run' across which was annoying!!

After the race...Tate and I went home to relax before the fun festivities we had that evening.

My sister came up to babysit Turner while we headed out for a 30th birthday party that included a pedal pub. Tate and I had never been on one so we were excited to try it out. Despite the cold weather...it was super fun and we were actually pretty warm pedaling. Talk about workout while drinking!!!

Sunday was a day spent meal planning for the week and getting the house in order. We also spent loads of family time just snuggling in bed and feeling incredibly blessed!!!
