Oct weekend...apples, pumpkins, football!!!

I'm kind of bummed I fell off the blog wagon. I was looking at my post from a year ago this weekend and loved reading everything we did. I loved reading it and seeing how life has changed so much since then.

So I'm going to come back..I'm back to blogging. My weekend posts might not show up until later...but as long as I recap and have a place to document the good, bad and ugly (hopefully more good than the latter 2), then I'll feel good about it and will enjoy looking back at it.

So this past weekend...was a fun one!

On Friday...Tate officially ended his 2013 football coaching season. To say I was elated would be an understatement. I even had a countdown in my phone when it would end. Don't get me wrong...I love that he is a coach because it is a rewarding job and seeing him work with all the kids is something really special...but I really love him has a husband and dad better!

Saturday was fun day...well they are always fun days because we get to spend them with Turner. He is the best! It's also the day I get most of the stuff done. I made a batch of homemade applesauce. Our neighbors have an apple tree and they give us load of apples every year. This batch I did not remove the skin...which I now regret. It's still good...but I would like it better without. Next batch I plan to make and freeze for Turner for when he will start eating that.

I got to spend all morning with him while Tate was working. He got home around noon. I was off for the afternoon (3 hours total) for a @ home party. I recently became a Norwex Independent Sales Consultant and love it so far. I have 2 parties under my belt and many more lined up. I left at 1:15 and was back by 4:15. Only gone for 3 hours and made a good chunk of change...

Saturday evening our neighbors had a pumpkin carving party. I was super excited about this. They asked us to judge for them.

We dressed Turner up in his bear hat and goat and headed over there. The carving was taking place in the garage so dressing him up was necessary...and he looks so darn cute I couldn't resist.

They had yummy food and good company!

Jalapeno dip, hot dog mummy's and spinach dip mummy's!!! Love the bread mummy's with spinach dip...such a creative idea and she didn't even find it on Pinterest (which I am sure it is probably on there).

Cat got first place and the owl took second. Tate and I voted and then I had to leave before seeing them in the dark because Turner was getting really fussy and ready for bed. Good thing we live right across the street...quick jaunt home!

On Sunday we dressed Turner up for football like we do every Sunday. We received football leggings as a gift for him and I was finally excited to put them on. He looked so adorable!!!

Sunday night Tate and I went out to celebrate our Anniversary. We had Teppanyaki at one of our favorite places. We also had some drinks and sushi. Our daycare lady came over with her oldest (10) to babysit Turner. We were only gone for a couple hours. It was also our first date since we've had him. It was nice to get out but I def did miss him!!!

I can't believe October is almost over. It is by far my favorite month!! I love all things about October!

*Fall colors*
*Crisp air*
*Our Anniversary*
*Halloween...duh*
*Football*
and many more...seriously, the best month there is!!!
