Grammys

Sorry for the lack of blog post last week. Work got crazy busy and I wasn't home very much and the time I was home...the last thing I wanted to do was hop back onto a computer. But I am back here and hope that these next 9+ weeks go by fast and then tax season will be over and I can breathe again :)

Another award show last night which puts me on the couch watching the red carpet arrivals and hoping for a good show. It was a bit somber because of the passing of Whitney Houston. Whitney was one of a kind and her time was cut very short. She was remembered many times during the show and I thought they did it very tastefully.

Before I post my best dressed...I have to share something I am looking forward to this week. As most readers know...I love the Ellen show and DVR it everyday. You may also know that I really like 2 little girls from England named Sophia Grace and Rosie that have been on Ellen's show many times. Ellen had them on again this past week and Sophia performed again...this time, she had her own rap! Check it out...she starts her rap @ 1:42!

So I am so excited to see Ellen this week and see how their Grammy experience was. Here they are on the red carpet!

So dang adorable!!! Ok...now for best dressed. There was not a single one that I felt like I was so in love with, which I was a bit disappointed by. These ladies looked gorgeous...but I wasn't in awe like I have previously.

I thought Kelly Rowland looked very beautiful in the dress that fit her very well. I am not a fan of her hairstyle though. Miranda Lambert looked glowing in this nude number. She definitely still has the newlywed glow and you can just see it at all times (I think her and Blake are adorable together). Carrie Underwood looks gorgeous. I love this whole look together...the hair, jewelry, clutch...everything looks really good. The back of her dress is open which really makes the look. I actually felt claustrophobic when I saw her...but then I saw the back and it really makes the dress.

I love this little black dress on Giuliana Rancic. It's so cute and looks so pretty. You can tell she wanted to go for comfort considering she was on red carpet duty that night interviewing everyone.

There were many worst dressed people in my opinion...too many to blog about. Many musicians have there own style and like to take risks...and that comes out during award shows. I commend them for doing there thing and thinking outside the box, but sometime it is a bit much.

These are all my opinion and in no way do I think I am a fashion no-it-all. Just like to share what I like and what my taste is :)

What did you guys think of the Grammys? Who was your best dressed?
