Week 23

I got Fergie stuck in my head...can you tell?!!?

Baby W this week…

-blood vessels in Baby W's lungs are developing to prepare for breathing

Size of the baby?

Baby is the size of a grapefruit and now I really want one!!

Total Weight Gain/Loss?

+10lbs at my 20 week appointment

Maternity Clothes?

I snagged a few items from H&M for $10 a piece. That dress in the picture is from the H&M maternity line and I also got 2 pairs of skinny pants...black & hot red! My friend, Jen, also gave me her tub FULL of maternity clothes! So thankful!!!

Stretch Marks?

Counting my lucky stars that I still don't have any

Best Moments?

Besides Tate finally feeling him move (see that in 'movement' below), it's seeing friends and having them comment how I am a cute pregnant lady and that I am all belly! They say my belly looks fake since I don't look pregnant anywhere else...well it's not and thank you :) I thought for sure my face would chub up since in college, I had a chubbier face from putting on extra weight. Well, we still have 17 weeks to go so I guess there is still time for that :)

Movement?

He has been moving like crazy! Tate FINALLY felt him on 2/2/13. It was almost 6 am (yes on Saturday, we both had to work) and we were still laying in bed. I told Tate that he was kicking/punching if he wanted to try to feel. He did and he felt him. On my actual week 23 mark (2/4/13), our lil' guy was going crazy and moving so much all day. When we went to bed I was afraid I wouldn't be able to fall asleep because he was moving so much. Tate felt it again and this time he didn't question any of the movements, he knew that it was our baby and felt it for awhile. Love these moments!

Food Cravings?

Tate has it down now that no matter what, after church on Sunday, mac & cheese will be for lunch :)

Anything making you queasy or sick?

Raw meat! Tate and I went grocery shopping and I wanted to vomit when I had to go pick up a few packages of chicken. So gross looking.

What I miss?
Bending over with ease :) It's a bit difficult these days and I know it's only going to get worse.

None

Symptoms?

 Crazy movement, uncomfortable moments after I stuff my face (Super Bowl Sunday), and a growing belly :)

Still too early for this!

Neither?!? It's flat.

Wedding Rings On or Off?
Still on and not got getting any tighter...so big plus :)

Sleep?
I still am getting about 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep. This past week I was getting crazy cramps in my calves though....not fun or cool! Hurt so bad and I was have to quickly get out of bed to walk around to ease the pain and it's not easy getting out of bed when I am wrapped in my pregnancy pillow!

What I am looking forward to?
I am looking forward to working more on the nursery this weekend. Besides both of us working on Saturday, Sunday is wide open to get things done around the house and I look forward to this!
