Baby W this week…
-Baby W is soaing up my antibodies, getting his immune system ready for life outside the womb.
-His eyes are forming and he will soon be practicing the blink...perfect for batting those freshly grown lashes that I hope he gets from his father (Tate has long lashes that I am super jealous of and LOVE).
Size of the baby?

Total Weight Gain/Loss?
+15lbs @ my 24 week appt. If the scale is right @ the gym, then I've gained 2 pounds since my 24 week appt. We will know for sure the number though when I go to the doctor in 2 weeks for my 28 week appt.

Need to buy a few maternity tank tops because I keep wearing the ones I already have and they are starting to get too short and I don't want them to be stretched out.

Best Moments?
Best Moments?
My mom came up last weekend and we had fun time picking out fabric and shopping for the lil' guy! I know she is super excited about being a Grandma and loves picking out baby things with me!
Movement?
It's so fun to me that he is on a schedule in there. I feel him at the same times everyday. Morning when I wake up, around lunch time, dinner time and then again right when I am going to bed. Love <3
Food Cravings?
Food Cravings?
Ever since he was the size of a grapefruit, I have bought them and have been eating them daily. So yummy!!! Trying to eat healthier so that I know he is growing big and strong. Having fruit smoothies with spinach and eating the one veggie I can stand, cold carrots :)

Raw meat!
What I miss?
Being able to do things myself. I don't want to hurt myself or him so I try to avoid lifting heavy things. I want to re-arrange our bedroom and the nursery but I have to wait to do it when Tate is around since I should be moving very heavy furniture.

Symptoms?
OMG...Tate was gone last weekend for State Wrestling and I woke up Friday morning @ 4:45 with cramps in BOTH of my calves. It hurt so bad and I could not get out of bed fast enough. I was of course all snuggled in with my pregnancy pillow and even though that things does wonders for sleeping, it for sure doesn't help with wanting to get out of bed fast. I was actually yelling it hurt so bad and scared Mya. Can't wait for those to go away.

I HAVE MY HUSBAND BACK :) He is officially done coaching wrestling and I am so excited! I know how much he loves it, but I love having him home. Even thought I am barely home during tax season, it will be FABULOUS to not have to worry about things getting done while I am work and know that Mya is not alone for long hours anymore! Only 7 more weeks until I am back to normal hours :)
Those leg cramps sound horrible!! Hopefully they will stop soon
ReplyDeleteDo you always dislike veggies or just now during pregnancy? I had a hard time eating veggies too and now it seems Aubrey dislikes them as well. I wish I would have tried harder to eat a larger variety of vegetables, maybe she would like more of them then.
ReplyDeleteOMG. I can't eat veggies either. BARF. You're still looking cute as always. :) Yay for having husband back!! :)
ReplyDeleteGirl you look so great! And ENJOY the last few weeks of the second trimester...hopefully your experience is nothing like mine, but when I hit the third trimester it's like a switch flipped and everything changed. Not to be a negative Nancy, you may be one of the lucky ones ;) And I am with you on missing being able to do things on my own...I hate having to ask people to lift things or move things around for me. Makes me feel so useless!
ReplyDeletecutest photo!!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't eat meat or veggies my entire pregnancy...people would always ask me what I ate....Mac N Cheese baby! :)
ReplyDeleteSo adorable! i just heart your blog! i'm a new GFC follower :)
ReplyDeleteYour mom is such a sweetheart, I can just imagine how excited she is for all of this! I had a leg cramp like that once before, which came out of nowhere & I was screaming because it hurt so bad. My dad had to push my foot back for about 10 minutes, before it relaxed at all. It was horrible! Hope you don't have to deal with those again!
