SPD: No Bake Energy Balls

We attended a Super Bowl party where someone brought these 'No Bake Energy Balls'. I tried one and then proceeded to eat about 5 of them. I felt bad after thinking I ate a few too many 'sweets'. After getting home and finding them on pinterest, I learned that it did not contain sugar as one of the ingredients. This recipe was 'Tate' approved :)

Source: snhblog.com via Bridget on Pinterest

Turns out that I pinned it from the blog that hosts this awesome link up!!!
So I finally bought the ingredients and made them. They were SUPER delicious and easy to make.

Ingredients
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup coconut flakes
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup ground flax seed
1/2 cup nut butter (almond, peanut or cashew butter)
1/3 cup honey

Mix all ingredients together in bowl

After you mix the ingredients together, refrigerate for 30 minutes. After chilling for 30 minutes, make into balls by either rolling or using an ice cream scoop.

Before enjoying, chill for another 30-60 minutes.

We have enjoyed them as a nice snack. I feel like I am eating cookie dough.

Buy the ingredients, make them and enjoy!!!!

Saw it. Pinned it. Did it. - Wine basket (Bachelorette gift)

Hey everyone...it's a post that is not about baby or pregnancy!!! It's actually about WINE :)

I'm linking up for the first time for Saw it, Pinned it, Did it!

For my friends bachelorette party last weekend, I found this wine gift basket idea on pinterest. I only 'liked' it so my friend wouldn't see that I pinned it!

 How super cute is that?!!?

The person that created this even has a pdf of different colors for you to print the tags in a color that you like. I picked navy since that is one of the colors of my friends wedding.

SUPPLIES:
Navy card stock
Printed tags
Hole punch
Decorative scissors
Paper cuter
Ribbon
Zots

After I printed the tags, I cut them to size

After cutting the tags, I used the zots to put them on the navy card stock. I then used the decorative edging scissors to cut them out. I used the paper cuter for the straight edge.

I then used the hole punch to tie the ribbon into and then put them on the wine bottles.

I used a sheer navy ribbon to decorate the basket.

And here they all are pretty in the basket!!!!

My friend LOVED them!!! All the other girls thought it was very cute and creative!!

This was so fun doing and it is super easy and I guarantee the bride to be will LOVE IT!!!

My latest Pinterest Lovin'

I feel like it has been FOREVER since I have logged on Pinterest on my computer. I've been so busy that I actually kind of forgot about it. Found a couple things while exploring blogs a few weeks back...had to pin those...but I definitely miss some Pinterest action.

What I love is that I have these mirrors...6 of them to be exact. I got them from Ikea when I lived alone right after college. I've been holding onto them knowing that I wanted to do something fantastic with them. Glad I found this a few weeks ago...can't wait to put a few in our downstairs entertainment area and also our someday nursery.

I think this is soooo cool! I would love to do this with our marriage license!

I actually have a date to make these with my Mom. I plan to make a few of these for the office that we are currently updating. I love the dark wood and recycled wine bottles. I'm also pretty excited to drink a few bottles to get a few :)

I found this awhile back. I feel like there are many people out there that do this and all these seem to think about is 'keeping up with the Joneses'.

Counting my blessings...every single day!

This outfit just screams...CUTE! I love the yellow skirt and flats! Now if I only could find the skirt!

I have this pinned under my 'photography' board...or titled 'Picture This'. How adorable is this? I just love it! I would love love love to get a picture like this of our some day kids!

Pinterest Love

Pinterest has become a new obsession. It has takin my DIY ideas to a whole new level. I love everything I find. I love that it not only has 'projects' or crafts, but also recipes, fitness tips and quotes.

Here are pins from each of my boards that I thought I would share with you.

I plan to make this very soon. I am in the middle of distressing a piece of furniture and I have a door that I don't plan on putting back on after I finish. I now have use for it...can't wait to show you all :)

I plan to print this and put in a 8x10 frame and display in my home. I think it's so cute and perfect for the holiday season.

I plan to do this to organize our bills and calendar for when bills are due. I love this idea. Right now, our office looks like a bomb went off in it. Wedding stuff everywhere...but I have it on my goal list to organize and clean it up...so I will for sure be posting a before and after pictures of that because I will be so excited when I actually have an office space at home!

This is something that I made even before pinterest was introduced to me...but then I found it on there and had to share with all you. It is so easy to make and so yummy!!!

When I don't have time to hit up the gym (or just don't feel like) I pull up some different fitness home workouts on pinterest. This one I have done a few times in the morning before getting ready. Definitely gets my heart rate up there and I burn a good 100+ calories.

I saved the best for last :) I am so in love with this nursery!!! I so want to do this for our FUTURE children (no I am not pregnant). I love these colors scheme and the quote on the wall...makes my heart melt. I always sing that song to Tate (& Mya), cheesy...I know. I knew instantly when I saw this picture that this would be my inspiration for the nursery for our first born.

What is your pinterest love?
