- Baby is the size of cauliflower.
- Baby is learning to distinguish from side up from upside down.
- Feeling FABULOUS...today is the end of tax season!!! More time with family, back to a social life and getting ready for this baby!
- Total weight gain...not sure. Don't care really either! ha
- So glad the weather is warming so I can wear maxi skirts and maternity dresses I already own. I will probably need to buy a few more pairs of work pants to add to the rotation.
- Will be able to hit up the gym more now that tax season has ended. I'll resume my early mornings since I love to get it out of the way.
- Still no stretch marks, rings still fit and I still get a full nights sleep.
- Getting cramps in my calves...which hurt so bad! It usually happens in the middle of the night! I also am finding myself to not have to shave my legs...at all. My hair is pretty thin the way it is but I have no hair growth, which makes me happy. Same thing happened when I was pregnant with Turner.
- Painted the entry way last weekend with my Mom's assistance. She was so excited to paint...I was all for it. Just one more wall to paint and then we can start with the downstairs office which is going to become Turner's new room.
- Baby is moving around so much and I love it. Tate has now seen baby move vs just feeling it.
- Gender is still unknown until the baby is born.
- No new nursery purchases this week...but I pretty much has it all planned out and know what needs to be bought. I'm taking a trip to Ikea tomorrow to buy a few things for house and will possibly check other items off my list for nursery if I see what we need.

Bump Day Baby #2 - Week 25

Bump Day Baby #2 - Week 24
- Baby is the size of a cantaloupe
- Baby's skin is becoming more opaque as the fat starts to pack on
- Feeling great especially since tax season ends in ONE WEEK :)
- Total weight gain = 12 lbs (home scale)
- Still rockin' non maternity and maternity clothes. Plan to buy a few more work pants as I only have 2 pairs of maternity for work...need more.
- No stretch marks.
- Starting to think it's a girl dancing around there...but I'll probably change my mind in a month on what I think it is...I really don't have a 'feeling' this time like I did with Turner.
- Can't wait to start home projects again. My mom will be up this weekend to help out and so we plan to paint the entry way which I am so excited about...
- Staying active by lifting and walking at the gym. My hip has been bothering me so I will rest the legs for a bit and just stick to upper body until I feel that heal.
- Food cravings = anything sweet and carbs. Love bread, peanut butter and fruit! Ice cream is being bought and eaten in record time at our house :)
- Baby is moving like crazy these days. Tate asked the baby last night to kick while he felt it and the baby did...loved that the baby is already listening to daddy :)
- No new nursery purchases this week, but possibly found a dresser on Craigslist that I will paint for the nursery.

Bump Day Baby #2 - Week 23
- Baby is the size of a grapefruit
- Baby's face is fully formed, except all the fat
- Had a doctors appointment yesterday...155 heart rate and measuring right on schedule
- Total weight gain = 11 lbs
- Mother nature should make up her mind on if it should be spring or winter still...I would like to break out my maternity dresses and not worry about pants and boots anymore.
- Still no stretch marks
- I do have varicose veins that are starting to show up in my legs...,not pretty.
- We won't know gender until July...and I have no clue. Going to prepare a little bit (buy a few items) if it's a girl and we have everything if it's a boy.
- We officially decided that Turner will move to the downstairs room around his 2nd birthday. We will keep in his crib though. I have heard horror stories about going to a big bed too early. Turner currently sleeps AWESOME at night, goes to bed at 7:30 without problems and sleeps soundly all night. I do not want to mess with this at all so we plan to keep him in the crib for as long as we can. He also has never tried to climb out of crib...so we find no reason to change anything.
- Bought a new baby monitor that was 50% off. We currently have the Angel Care Monitor for Turner...and love it. We got the same one except with video now. We plan to keep using Turner with him down in his room so we can hear if he needs anything.
- I also bought a fun cubby to hang on wall in new nursery. I love purchasing things here and there for the new nursery. I can't wait to put it all together.
- Still loving anything carb related. Forcing myself to each veggies to get some nutrition.
- 2 weeks left of tax season...thank gosh!
A little comparison of 23 weeks with Turner and 23 weeks with this pregnancy. I happened to wear the same dress...so I thought a fun comparison shot was in order.
At first I thought I looked the same...but after examining it closer, I realized by belly sits lower this time around and sticks straight out more vs more rounded with Turner. I feel the same though...

Bump Day Baby #2 - Week 22
- Baby is the size of a papaya.
- Baby is settling into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day.
- Baby is moving and kicking like crazy...and I love every second of it.
- Tate felt the baby for the first time on March 22, 2015. We were watching TV and I felt the baby move. I told him and he immediately reached over to feel. I moved his hand to where the movement was and he felt it. I wasn't sure if he would be able to feel it yet but he did and he loved it so much.
- Been going to the gym more now. I decided I need to make time for my workouts because my body is tell me to. Work can get overwhelming and that time away is very nice. Last week I was on the treadmill and the lady next to me told me I was SO ADORABLE...it pretty much made my day :)
- Not sure on weight gain...doctor appt is next week. We finally got a new battery for the scale so maybe I'll have a better idea going forward.
- As you can see...my belly button popped...it actually did awhile ago but now is just way more noticeable.
- Wedding ring still fits, no stretch marks that I can see and we have had no labor signs...thank gosh.
- I have been researching double strollers...and suggestions welcome. Looking at the sit and stand kind because then Turner will have options as he grows.
- Got the Solly Baby Wrap and I can't wait to use it. They were having a sale so I knew it was my time to get it. We don't have too many items on the list of items to purchase but this was definitely one of them as I know I may be doing a lot more baby wearing this time around since I'll have a toddler to chase.
- We have a girl name for sure picked out. I have a boy name...but Tate is unsure. It is the same name we were deciding between for Turner or this one...and now Tate doesn't know if he likes it. It's the only name I like that I have seen or heard so far so I hope he eventually likes it again...considering he thought of it many years ago!
- Nothing sounds good unless it's carbs or sweets. Veggies and protein sounds gross...but I have been forcing myself to eat some.
- Tax season ends in 21 days :)

Bump Day Baby #2 - Week 21
- Baby is the size of a pomegranate
- If baby is a girl, her womb is now stocked up with her lifetime supply of six million eggs (that number will drop to around one million by birth)...so crazy.
- I have finally hit 'exhaustion'. I have had the worst head cold this last week and felt like my body is telling me to rest. Work, daycare, family has all been crazy this week. Turner has also been sick, our daycare lady was sick...it was just never ending along with the first tax deadline on Monday. I decided to slow down because I will not put my health or this baby at risk for anything.
- I am unsure how much I have gained but I amt thinking probably around 12 lbs.
- I get so busy at work and home that I sometimes forget to eat which results in me getting light headed and needing food super bad. I know this is bad and I am trying to be conscious that I really need to eat.
- I can still feel baby move throughout the day. If I don't feel he/she move, I get very worried. Tate has yet to feel it.
- I did cave and buy some more maternity clothes. Gap was having 40% off everything sale so I went and found a dress, jeans and pants for work for just $37. Love Gap...Love sales...Love saving money :)
- Counting down the days until tax season is over so I can enjoy time with my family.
- We bought an ottoman from Target for the nursery that was on clearance. That's one thing I wish I would have had for Turner's nursery when feeding him so I could put my feet up and now we have one so I am super excited.
- Pre-registered with the hospital...crazy to think my doctor already asked me to do that.
- Still not stretch marks which is nice. I lather up with my Renew lotion every evening after shower so I am hoping that prevents them from appearing.

Bump Day Baby #2 - Week 20
(face gets covered after a 14 hour day)
- Baby is the size of banana (nana as Turner calls it).
- Halfway there...wow, just wow.
- Baby is practicing swallowing and digesting by gulping down ounces of amniotic fluid.
- We had our ultrasound yesterday and loved seeing our lil' miracle.
- Baby has 10 fingers and 10 toes...we got to see all the organs, his or her very nice long spine, and even his or her nose and lips.
- We looked away when the ultrasound tech looked at the bladder and groin area so that we would not accidentally see the gender. I don't think I would have known either way...but just to be safe we looked away.
- I have no idea if the ultrasound tech knows or saw the gender and I didn't want to ask. I am going to pretend she doesn't and that only God really knows.
- Baby was super active and moving so much. It was adorable. Arms moving around....kick legs, twisting and turning. The tech was finding it difficult to get some pictures because the baby was moving so much.
- My doctor told me that the baby is already in the 83%ile for growth and so we will be monitoring that closely (I have no idea what that really means so I'll have to ask about it at my next appt).
- The baby measures at 21 weeks 1 day...but I don't think they plan on changing my due date.
- I've officially retired the belly band and non maternity clothes. It's just too uncomfortable. Thank gosh the weather is warming up because most of my maternity clothes are NOT winter friendly.
- Still no stretch marks and wedding rings still fit. I anticipate they will fit the entire pregnancy because they did with Turner and everything seems to be the exact same for this pregnancy.
- Getting only about 6-6.5 hours of sleep because of tax season. Deadline #1 is on Monday so I am hoping I can scale back a little bit with work so that my body has time to rest. Working 75 hour weeks is not ideal for a pregnant woman (or anyone for that matter).
- Started hitting up the gym again which my body thanks me for. I do 10 minutes of warm up cardio (elliptical, stair master or cycling) and then do some lifting of weights.

Bump Day Baby #2 - Week 19
- Baby is the size of a mango
- I have gained a total of 9 lbs which seems to be right on track with my first pregnancy.
- Had a doctors appointment yesterday, got to hear the heart beat again...159 beautiful beats per minute :)
- Measuring right on point
- Still haven't purchased any new maternity clothes. Being stubborn about this not because I don't want to but because I am so frugal. I hate how they increase the price of something because it says 'maternity'. Pants are difficult to fit in if they are non maternity so I may have to splurge with that but I will definitely try to find a deal and they will more likely be on sale if I purchase them.
- Sleep is still going good. I don't ever wake during the night. They key is just getting enough sleep from working, not because I am pregnant.
- Still not liking veggies at all so I have been making myself a smoothie and packing it full of spinach to get the nutrients. Try to eat healthy but it's so difficult when none of sounds appetizing.
- Feeling the baby move more and more now. I love it. Tate has yet to feel it but I think that will be soon he will be able to.
- Looking forward to our ultrasound next week. Can't wait to see our baby and know everything is going good growth wise. Praying that he or she is healthy.
- Gender will not be known until this baby is born.
- I haven't worked out much since returning from Jamaica due to the fact that work is taking so much of my time. I plan to get back to the gym on tomorrow as this body is craving a workout.
